Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AI devotee and its websites, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is a web directory / link directory: we organize, describe, and link to third‑party websites and tools. By creating an account, signing in, submitting a link or review, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service; no endorsement
The Service provides informational listings, categories, search, and shortcuts to external sites. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third‑party content, availability, security, privacy practices, or licensing. You access external sites at your own risk and should review each site’s own terms and policies.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you notify us of unauthorized use through the contact method shown in the site footer. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the Service or other users.
3. User submissions (directory listings, suggestions, comments)
Where the Service allows you to suggest tools, URLs, titles, descriptions, votes, or comments (“Submissions”):
- You grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute your Submissions in connection with operating and promoting the directory.
- You represent that you have the rights to grant that license and that Submissions do not violate applicable law or third‑party rights.
- We may moderate, edit, decline, reorder, or remove listings or Submissions for quality, legal compliance, or abuse prevention, without obligation to host any particular link.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) misuse or disrupt the Service (including scraping or excessive automated access contrary to our policies); (b) upload malware or attempt unauthorized access; (c) harass others or post unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content; (d) use the Service to spam or send unsolicited bulk communications; or (e) circumvent security measures (including bot‑mitigation checks such as Cloudflare Turnstile where we deploy them).
5. Intellectual property
The Service’s branding, layout, compiled directory data, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws except where noted. Third‑party trademarks and logos belong to their owners; directory listings may display names or icons only for identification, not as endorsement.
6. DMCA / copyright notices (US-style safe harbor orientation)
If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a notice with the information typically required by applicable law (e.g., identification of the work, the URL or listing at issue, your contact details, and a good‑faith statement). We may remove or disable access to disputed material when appropriate. Repeat infringers may lose access.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR‑FREE, OR THAT LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE OR SAFE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THIRD‑PARTY SITES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF USD $50 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
9. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Submissions, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
10. Changes
We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will post updates on this page and may indicate a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
11. General
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service (see contact/footer), without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
